Ahh! It's been weeks since I updated...sorry guys!

I don't have a ton to update about school, things have been fairly monotonous lately. It's definitely not as stressful or as scary as I thought it was going to be. That's not to say it's easy...I just am enjoying it more than I ever enjoyed undergrad :)

I had a very relaxing weekend! This is the only week this semester that we have no exam (well, integration is on Thursday but it doesn't really count!) so I didn't crack open my laptop ONCE all weekend. Let me tell you...it was magnificent! I didn't even feel guilty. (Okay, maybe I felt a little guilty...) Saturday I walked some nature trails with a friend and Rhyley (who was beyond grateful to finally get out of the apartment). Kansas has some really beautiful scenery! We stopped at a huge lake - the first body of water I have seen in two months - so I felt a little closer to home :) I also had many a grasshopper fly at me. I love nature, but not the bugs that comes with it! Later that evening I was able to finally get my sushi fix at dinner...nom! It made me miss my sushi dates with Brittney (my best friend of THIRTEEN YEARS!)

On another note, it's getting really cold here...I have been frozen all day long. It's only going to get worse, so I'm a little scared! Hopefully I will adjust well. I am a little excited to experience my first REAL winter!

I wanted to end by asking my readers to keep me in your prayers...I'm going through some stuff right now and could really use the power of prayer. I don't really want to go into detail, so please just lift me up in prayer and God will take care of the rest. Thanks in advance :)

Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
